UIHD is a registered non-profit company with registration number 2009/016125/08. Since it was founded, UIHD has played a pivotal role in helping individuals identify and utilise their talent, abilities and gift to achieve life goals. We fundamentally reject any form of unfair discrimination or segregation on the bases of Race, Gender, Tribe, Religion and Background existing within our ranks in precipitating and preserving unity in diversity. Under these auspices, we further disclaim any unfair treatment or demeanor and attitude that hinder the growth potential and human development across all the nations.

We remain committed to be deemed as a life skills centre that shall produce well-capacitated business entrepreneurs and leaders of the future that are well exposed, well-ingrained and transformed to overcome the endless life challenges and misfortunes confronting all the disadvantaged individuals and societies in general and in the business arena.

Management Team

Nhlakanipho Chiliza

Nhlakanipho is Founding President of the Universal Institute for Human Development and responsible for the overall strategy. He is holding a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration in International Finance and Investment Management and is working for Accenture South Africa Management Consulting division. Nhlakanipho held several senior positions in other non governmental organisations which helped him to understand the NGO's growth strategy. Nhlakanipho value the opportunity of adding meaningful value to other individuals and gain life fulfilment through contributing to other people's lives.

Pheladi Lefika

Pheladi is an Organisational Development Director of Universal Institute for Human Development and is responsible for the development of the UIHD service, research and the sustainability. She is holding a Masters in Knowledge and Information Management and is working as a lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. Pheladi is also serving in the community development committee of the University of Johannesburg Department of Information and Knowledge management . She is very passionate about social development and to improve other people lives.

Njabulo Shezi

Njabulo Shezi comes with more than ten years experience in the Financial Services Industry. He worked for First National Bank as a Business Analyst for Risk, Finance and Procurement before joining Barclays Africa Group to work on Group Strategic projects as a Finance Business Partner. He has provided Project Finance support to twelve African countries where Barclays Africa Group operates. He was nominated and accepted into the ADI (Africa Development Initiative) Programme at the beginning of 2013 (a three year Leadership Programme for ABSA/Barclays employees from different African countries). He shares his expertise through the work he does for the Universal Institute for Human Development (UIHD) as a Finance Director. His educational background include BBA (Finance) (CIDA City Campus) and a Post Graduate Diploma (Information Management) (University of Johannesburg). He is also completing a Master of Commerce (Business Management) through the University of Johannesburg.

Boikanyo Ratlhagane

Boikanyo is holding a Marketing Director position of the Universal Institute for Human Development and is responsible of the planning and implementation of the marketing strategy. Boikanyo is a Sales Executive of the MMR Commodity Broker cc and as an entrepreneur he is a director of many other small to medium businesses. Boikanyo holds an LLB Honours. From his young age Boikanyo has always involved himself in community development actitives.



Zipho Mavundla

Responsible for the UIHD governance, Work as a Network Specialist at T-systems SA and Founding Owner of Zam-Zip Productions , holds a BBA degree in International Finance and Investment and Networking Diploma




Glenda Kamogelo Pandeka

Responsible for UIHD Project Implementation, Founding Owner of Amakelani Lifestyle Management, holds a BBA degree in Marketing.





Zamani Bhengu

Responsible for UIHD Technical Support and Special Projects, Work as a Junior HR Consultant at Standard Bank South Africa and Founding Owner of Zam-Zip Productions , holds a BBA degree in Human Resources
